See? Look at that? A simple lyrical manipulation and I've edited the title to fit today perfectly, you see, I came home for Christmas today! I had to go to my clinic appointment... or as Jacki, the technitian at my lecture theater called it... My diabetic MOT! Luckily they didn't keep me in for servicing like I thought they would, just gave me a good oiling.
Okay, enough with the bad car jokes. I was expecting the results to be really bad, especially when I heard other people were getting HBa1Cs of about 20%! (This number is supposed to be about 5 or 6, so 20 basically means you've almost died every day for the last 3 months. Not a very comfortable experience I'm sure.) My last result was 8.6%, but after the past 3 months of me being at university the number has jumped to 9.7%. I would have been in trouble but then again my mum and doctors understand how hard it is to look after yourself medically when you're being beaten from the inside out by bullies that you live with, so they let me off.
I don't think I mentioned earlier but on Monday I got my results back for the photography project I really struggled with. Yeah, I got another 3rd. Depressing but I sort of understand why as there was very little work in the work book as I didn't have a clue as to what to do until the very last week. The new project is called "The photographic essay" so basically we have to tell a story using photographs. This is good because as far as I can tell from the brief, I can use the images form the Snowflake Ball and say they're in the style of WeeGee. We finally got the video project finished and you can view it here:

I would have embedded it but I'm not overly sure how to do this without taking over the entire webpage. We're going to be getting that marked on Friday, but I won't be there so am going to have to ask one of the girls from my group ato ring me and tell me how we did. I don't really care if we did badly though, because I'm really proud of it and we spent a long time working on it.
Tomorrow I'm going to relax and enjoy being back at home with yorkshire water and then on Thursday I'm going back to my old college to visit all my old friends. Should be a really good day!! Ciao for now.
